Northwest Area Education Agency is a regional agency that provides school improvement services for students, teachers and administrators. The agency is an educational partner with 35 public school districts and 34 accredited, private schools in a 10-county area of northwest Iowa. Northwest AEA staff, schools and families work together to help all children reach their potential.

Northwest Area Education Agency offers a wide array of special education and school improvement services and programs for school administrators, teachers, students, children and parents. Some of the dozens of services include: assistive technology, Child Find, early childhood special education, hearing, speech-language pathology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, vision, autism support, professional development, English Language Learners (ELL), technology support, printing, graphic design and online resources.
